JOAN MAIER, CPA, CGMA, MBA

Joan Maier is a Senior Manager in the Client Accounting Services department at Atchley & Associates, LLP., and has been in the accounting profession since 2002. Joan earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Southwestern University, with a concentration in Finance from St. Edwards University in Austin.

Before joining Atchley & Associates, LLP in 2021, Joan was CFO and Senior VP for GREX for 16 years. She later became a consultant under J Maier Consulting, continuing to provide financial and accounting expertise. 

Currently, Joan is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is currently a member of the Delta Mu Delta (National Honor Society in Business Administration) Beta Kappa Chapter.

Joan’s practice focuses on CFO services including complex accounting, cost accounting, advanced financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cash management, project management, strategic planning, benefit compliance, and risk management.
