Tawney is a Senior Manager in the Tax department at Atchley & Associates, LLP and has been in the accounting profession since 2012. She earned her Master of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
Tawney's practice focuses on complex corporate, partnerships, individual tax compliance and planning, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She brings a well-rounded perspective to her work through prior experience in audit, payroll, and accounting services before transitioning to tax.
She is an active member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and McMinnville Young Professionals.
